Paper Pelvis

The paper pelvis is a model of the human pelvis, showing bones and some muscles as layers of paper. It was developed as a cheap teaching tool for medical students to show the complex three-dimensional relations of the muscle layers of the pelvis. Although accurate in many respects, this paper model is not able to demonstrate all of the important relations of the pelvis.

The model can be printed double-sidedly on two sheets of 11’ by 14’ paper. Scissors and tape are all that is necessary to put it together.
