About the Wireless NetworkNEOUCOM has an easy to use 802.11b wireless network. Utilizing the Bluesocket wireless management system, NEOUCOM wireless network requires login to a webpage via a browser window in order to access the wireless network. All students with 802.11b wireless enabled data communication devices (e.g., laptops, notebooks, PDAs, etc.) should be able to access NEOUCOM's wireless network. LoginStudents with a wireless-card equipped device should be able to access the new system by simply opening a web browser window and signing into the Bluesocket window that will appear automatically. When you open your browser, you will see a Bluesocket login screen as shown at right. Use your regular NEOUCOM DOCS UserID and password to sign into the wireless network. You will need to repeat the same login procedure before each wireless session or in the event of a dropped or lost connection. For more detailed instructions Click Here. Log Out
IP Error MessageAn IP error message may appear immediately after signing in. If you see the error message, close your browser and reopen it. You will continue to be logged in to the wireless network and will be able to access Internet resources. The error message occurs when signing in again without having logged out from a previous wireless session. If you are receiving the message frequently, please be sure you are logging out when finished using the wireless network. See above for log out instructions.
