The goal of the Auditory Neuroscience Group is to promote excellence in hearing research through a highly collaborative environment. The group currently uses systems and cellular approaches to study the function of the central auditory system. The group is expanding its boundaries to include related disciplines of communication, clinical audiology, clinical neuroscience, and biotechnology to continue innovative basic science research and to develop clinical applications. The Auditory Neuroscience Group is committed to interdisciplinary training of postdoctoral fellows and graduate students that extends across our laboratories. Graduate training is in cooperation with the School of Biomedical Sciences and Department of Audiology at Kent State University and the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University of Akron. Please contact any of the faculty if you would like to join us. |
